Question 35 - we asked:

Stanley is close to the C2C long-distance leisure cycle route, along the former railway line, but there is no cycling provision alongside the main roads in the area, for example the A693, which makes it effectively impossible to cycle to Chester le Street, Tanfield Industrial Estates or Consett without using national speed limit roads. How soon would you hope to see good-quality shared-use paths for pedestrians and cyclists provided to link Stanley to neighbouring towns and villages?
