Question 38 - we asked:
Providing a safe cycle route alongside the road from Crook to Willington would not only connect these two communities but would allow people to continue along the railway path to Bishop Auckland, which would then be within a reasonable commuting distance by bike. People would also have to option of cycling towards Durham. How would you prioritise creating such a link compared with providing cycle lanes and other facilities within Crook itself?
