Elections
After candidates were announced, we attempted to contact as many as possible with a short list of questions to find out what they think about improving provision for walking and cycling in County Durham. Their responses can be seen within these pages. Please note that this year we have had a lot of difficulty contacting candidates, so the absence of a response should not be interpreted as a lack of interest in the issues.
The surveys from 2021 were carried out when SPACE for Durham was using the name Trust Pathways, and when our aims had not yet broadened to cover pedestrian issues as well as cycling. There are questions related to improving walking conditions in the survey, but if we carry out further surveys there will be a different balance of questions.
